Aloe is a naturally occurring plant growing in warm regions of the planet. It has the special ability to retain water which is transformed into a transparent gelatinous liquid and this is the characteristic of all its properties. It is used in the treatment for wound healing and burns, but also for the treatment of diabetes. Aloe consumption is also thought to be good for digestive disorders, such as stomach ulcer, dyspepsia, constipation and ulcerative colitis.
It is also rich source of minerals (e.g., iron, chromium, manganese, phosphorus, potassium, zinc), enzymes, amino acids and other nutrients.
