Date is called the fruit of palm and it is one of the most important food of the Asian and northern African peoples. Although date is eaten fresh, it is usually consumed in dried form and it is one of the most nutritious and sweet fruits available, since it contains up to 70% of sugar. For this reason, it is able to replenish the lost energy and to satisfy our body directly from the feeling of hunger.
Dates are rich in calcium, manganese, iron and copper and also contains enough vitamin B, vitamin A, and vitamin K. This fruit is also able to soothe the nerves and act as a natural therapy for the headache.
